BOM

a.k.a. Bill Of Materials:

I divided my CNC in four categories:
  1. Aluminum profiles
  2. Steel plates
  3. Bolts and nuts
  4. The rest... guide bars and bearings, motors and control, etc...
The reason it's because I found them at four different companies... in my budget.

1. Aluminum profiles:

The list includes two extra Bar 8 for eventually failures in my design. If not needed I will use them for the 4th axis maybe.

I couldn't find a company in Sweden to deliver me the profiles within a reasonable price. Also google sucks at finding companies in Sweden which sells them. I found three or four and the price was more than double than what I was hopping.
So I started to look on eBay and I found a company in Germany which was selling my type of profile (40x40 with 8mm gap and 6.8mm diameter hole) http://www.dold-mechatronik.de/
He was very helpful and patient with me :)

The beauty of it was getting them already cut (I believe they were cut automatically). All I know is that if I would receive them in 6m long bars I will definitely lose a few hours, maybe days, cutting them and it will cost a lot more for the transport. The delivery time was OK. around 2 weeks since the payment with a tracking no.
In the end I couldn't be more happy about the aluminum profiles: I payed 6540SEK for all.

2. Steel plates
I have the luck working for a company which deals with steel plates so I will get the material from work and ask a neighbor to cut them according to my drawings
All I need is one plate 1000x2000x2mm and one 500x1000x5mm
It cost me 3500SEK only for the cutting cost. The material was lucky to get it for free from work... but it cannot be more than a few hundreds SEK.

3. Bolts and nuts
From my experience: "you" always underestimate the bolts. Not only the price but also how much they weight.

The reason i didn't bought all the bolts is that i bought them from Swebolt and they don't sell by piece. So if I would've bought a box for every bolt type in the end I would've payed more than 2000SEK so I decided to buy only the most needed and to "cut" the short ones from the ones longer.
I know that this can be some extra work but is worth it.

4. The rest.
Almost everything else that's left (linear bearings,
